Creating Memories for You
Although I have my own props, blankets and little teddies etc if possible I like to include something unique and personal to you and your baby. For example a favourite toy, special blanket, outfit etc., whatever you would like to be captured with your treasured little one, just bring it along (only one or two small items though please!)
Time for You and Your Baby
Every newborn is different, plus this can be a tiring and stressful time for new parents so in order to allow sufficient time to capture your bundle of joy a newborn photo session will take around 2-3 hours. This will allow time for feeding, changing, cuddles and settling. Please don't worry if your baby is fussy on the day we will work together to capture what we can and if all else fails, reschedule! (There is no additional fee if we agree to reschedule)
Styling the Photoshoot
I prefer to shoot a more natural style, focused on the baby and therefore would not consider any poses I feel may compromise the safety of your baby. If there are particular poses you have seen on other sites, I am happy to discuss options but may decline photographing certain poses in the interests of your baby's well being and safety.
Your Precious Little One
I am used to handling newborn babies and know how absolutely unique and precious each one is. I will work in tune with your baby and adapt to their particular needs on the day and ensure they are warm and safe at all times. I therefore suggest that you wear lightweight layered clothes, as sometimes the studio will need to be fairly warm for when wraps and your babys' clothes are removed.
